Chinese Character Memorization and Learning App
A tool for Chinese character memorization and learning, built on top of Anki. It allows users to write out Chinese characters in the most convenient way possible, and allows for offline and online learning.
The app supports multiple learning formats: a text box for the user to write out a word, a button for the user to write out a character, an image button for the user to paste in an image, a drop-down menu for the user to select multiple options, a card view for the user to view individual cards, and a word view for the user to view a single word.
It also includes a small dictionary of common characters that are used often, such as for phone numbers, street signs, and more. This dictionary can be useful in making decisions about the characters you encounter.
In addition to supporting the Chinese language, it can also read roman-script languages like Japanese, Korean, and Russian.
When using the dictionary, please note that Chinese and Japanese characters have multiple readings. For example, the character '日' can be read as 'RIGHT' or 'JI' (capitalized or lowercase). This app uses the top-right 'RIGHT' reading, even though it is lowercase.
